Ripple Effects for Kids is used across tiers and settings for students in grades 2-5. This flexible, personalized program can be student-directed, educator-directed or a hybrid of the two. Ripple Effects directly aligns with CASEL’s SEL core competencies and with more than 195 peer-narrated topics to engage students, Ripple Effects for Kids meets students where they are, right when they need it. Problem-solving scenarios provide context-specific coaching and protect privacy.

Students can explore a range of skill-building topics from executive function to mindset to personal problem solving; physical and emotional health; and decision making. Whether used alone or as a supplemental program, Ripple Effects for Kids promotes a positive school climate and encourages students to address their unique personal challenges.

    Ideas to support classroom discussion

    Teachers receive ideas and suggestions on how to promote classroom discussions, which are particularly helpful for grades 2 and 3. Supplemental questions on the sidebar support practice and reflection. Teachers can also pause the video as needed during classroom discussions.

Data Management and Planning Tools

Data Management and Planning Tools assist data driven decision for SEL and behavioral interventions.

Data Management: Our progress monitoring tool, Data Viewer, is entirely strengths-based. It monitors and documents the development of collective and individual social-emotional strengths and dosage levels of personal exploration, while also tracking progress in meeting individual behavioral goals.

Planning Tools: Our digital planning tools support individualized interventions to meet your RTI/MTSS needs. Our Playlist Creator allow implementers to assign a specific lesson or research-based scope of lessons for individual or groups of students. Assessment tools include Screen for Strengths, which is a self-reported survey of social emotional competencies and resiliency assets.
