What it measures

I to I measures three things:

  1. How the person answering sees adult behavior toward different groups of students
  2. How the person answering sees student behavior toward different groups of their peers
  3. How the person answering would describe their own attitudes toward different groups of people

As each person completes the survey, they can see their own results in the context of the results of their whole group (i.e. students/teachers/staff/parents), and compared with these other groups in their school community. By getting multiple viewpoints about the same things, your school is better able to identify common strengths and pinpoint potential sources of conflict.

Dozens of Resource Contributors have each shared one practice that has worked for them in addressing potential sources of conflict and/or strengthening community. We hope you will take advantage of their collective wisdom, and double down on your own efforts to create a positive learning community.
