Over 10 years, eight randomized, controlled trials and three quasi-experimental evaluations have examined the impact of Ripple Effects on attitudes and skills, behaviors, and objective school outcomes, for 4,700 students.  Participants were drawn from 51 elementary, middle, and high schools, in urban, rural, and suburban settings, in three regions of the United States. Participating students represented all ethnic/racial groups, and included special education students. The population was weighted toward low-income African American and Latino adolescents with multiple risk factors.
