There has never been a better time to access funding to help all students succeed in school. Over the next few months billions of dollars of federal funding is scheduled to flow to districts.  Much of it will be directed through two established programs designed to address equity issues: Title 1 and IDEA. A smaller amount flows through other federal programs that can be used to purchase the Ripple Effects program.

About half of the full pot of money for those programs will be distributed through traditional formulas, based on enrollment of qualified students.  The other half will be one-time allocations through the Educational Stimulus program, which includes the competitive “Race to the Top” and Innovation in Education programs. Because it represents a one time purchase, Ripple Effects Whole Spectrum Intervention System (including training software for students and for staff, as well as live training, evaluation, implementation and reporting services) meets both stimulus funding and ongoing criteria for the following federal funding programs:

• TITLE I (Socio-economic disadvantage
• Title II D EETT (Technology)
• Title IV (Safety, health, community)
• Title V (Counseling)
• Title VII B (Homeless)
• Title IX (Gender equity)
• OJJDP
